About Sky Dancers
SKYDANCERS (AIRDANCERS)
Big Visibility. Small Cost. Proven Results.
Skydancers — also known as Airdancers — are one of the most effective and best-value roadside marketing tools available. They grab attention instantly and pull eyes to your business from hundreds of metres away.
If people are driving past your location, a Skydancer makes sure they notice you.
Why Skydancers Work
- 6 metres tall – impossible to ignore. For small shop fronts or indoors, see the new 2.8m high models.
- Powerful 950-watt motor when included.
- High-output centrifugal blower pumping up to 6,800 m³ of air per hour.
- Runs from a standard power point.
- Designed for maximum movement and visibility.
This constant motion is what makes Skydancers so effective — and why they outperform static signs.
Colours Available
Colours rotate regularly and availability changes.

Our History with Skydancers
For over 10 years, we hired Skydancers to businesses at:
- $995 per month, or
- $495 per weekend
We’ve since made them available for purchase, allowing you to own the full asset outright for around $550. That’s a one-time cost instead of ongoing hire fees — and represents exceptional value for any business that relies on foot traffic or drive-by exposure.
Custom Letters & Branding
Need letters added to your Skydancer? We can organise it for you.
- $15 per letter
- Fast turnaround
- Typically up to 8 letters per inflatable
Note: Small feature colours such as hair, face and accents may vary slightly from listing images.
Important Information About Skydancer Fabric
Skydancers are designed to move constantly — that’s how they work. Because the fabric repeatedly bends, collapses and re-inflates:
- The fabric naturally wears over time.
- Fabric men are considered a consumable item.
- No supplier worldwide offers long-term fabric warranties.
If you run a Skydancer every day and 8+ hours a day, you should expect to replace the fabric man 3–4 times per year. The motor is separate and is covered by a 12-month warranty.
Operating Guidelines & Safety
- Do NOT use in strong winds over approximately 10 km/h.
- Do NOT use in wet weather.
- Keep clear of trees, walls, vehicles, signs or buildings.
- Ground use only — never mount on roofs or moving objects.
- Optional: add a 20 kg base weight for stability in calm conditions.
Warning: If the fabric catches on any object, it may tear.
Getting the Best Results
- Don’t run it every single day for months.
- Rotate usage across promotions and events.
- Change colours occasionally to reset visual impact.
- Consider owning spare fabric men for rotation.
Skydancers work best when used strategically, not continuously.
