If you
need letters for the men then ask us. Quick turnaround as letters are just $15 each and normally no more than 8 letters can fit on an inflatable.

Warranty
- Skydancer fabric men work because as they blow up and down the the
fabric fails and it bends. So each time it bends and flops and folds it
is wearing the fabric men. The men are a throw away item and will not
last 12 months. No companies will. Further if it bends and moves in
the wind and catches on concrete or a building or trees it could catch
and tear so be careful where you install and it cant be used in strong
wind. We cover the motor for 12 months but the man is not and will not
be by any supplier in the world. So if you are going to use every day
and 8 hours a day then expect to be buying 3 or 4 men a year (not motor
just the fabric man)

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
These instructions are provided when you buy a fabric man or blower fan or a combination. Some or all may apply to you.
A Skydancer man moves and flaps because it is made from a light weight fabric. The fabric tube structure continually fails and falls which is why it bends. This is why the fabric man does not last very long when used every day. Each time it bends it is caused by the fabric structure failing and eventually the failing will wear a crease and then break. We use a rip-stop fabric but the men do a lot of work out of the street for you.
WARNING:
If the fabric tube catches on anything surrounding its location there is a good chance that it will tear. It will bend differently all the time so checking if it hits anything for 5 minutes is not going to stop it from catching a tree or building or a car, 2 hours later.
Fabric men do not come with warranty.
The fan should not be used on any medium wind conditions so put it away if it is more that 10klms per hour winds.
The device cannot be used in any wet weather.
SETUP:
Attach the man to the fan using the Velcro and keeping that Velcro attachment level with no creases. Connect it into mains power where the amount of AMPS on that circuit can provide a continual 5 AMPS while it is running. We recommend you do not use an extension lead longer than 20m. Make sure your lead is commercial grade like a yellow or orange style. Switch it on and keep it clear from sucking the fabric man back from under the fan.
OPERATIONS:
Usually it does not need any anchoring but for safety reason adding a 20 kg weight to the leg may give you peace of mind, but remember the item should not be used on windy days because the fabric man will bend and hit the ground causing damage to your man.
The man should only be used on the ground and not mounted to any roof or moving object.
The unit cannot be used in the rain and does not have an IP rating. The fabric will deteriorate very quickly if it gets wet and is not dried out fast.
HOW TO GET THE MOST FROM YOUR NEW PROMOTION
MAN:
Don’t put it out every day from open till close for a month (they work as it draws attention but after the same people see it continually that attention will die off)
Buy additional men to change the colour and make it attract people’s eyes again.
Have a strategy of using it for half a dozen promotions a year.
